Sé que lo normal es abrir una carpeta con Nautilus (u otro navegador de archivos) y luego con algún plugin, abrir la terminal con el botón derecho. Pero a veces, simplemente abres la terminal y tienes que hacer cosas que con nautilus se hacen mejor. Para ello, simplemente se ejecuta en la terminal:
nautilus $PWD
En realidad $PWD lo que hace es sustituir esa palabra por la URI que tengas abierta en ese momento. Y si no usamos nautilus habitualmente, podemos escribir en su lugar thunar, nemo o dolphin.
